Nomination Procedures

The new round of nomination application (Pre-stage Level and Level 1) will begin on 1 September, 2021 (Wednesday).The course schedules and a full set of nomination documents were sent to the participating schools by post and email in August, and are available online. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any enquiries.

If you wish to join the Dual Program as participating school, please download and complete the School Participation Form.

  • Speaker: Counselling Psychologist
Deadline for Online Nomination Application by Students
  • Students should submit the acknowledgement email together with a copy of the latest Academic Report to School Coordinating Teachers by this date

Nomination Period Ends
  • School Coordinating Teachers should collect all the acknowledgement emails from students and submit together with the completed Nomination Checklist to CDGT
Nomination Result Announcement by Email to Schools and Student Nominees
  • Successful Applicants should settle the course fee within three working days

Student nominees submit the online application and upload copies of supporting documents, then print the acknowledgement email and submit it together with a copy of the latest academic report to School Coordinating Teacher (application will NOT be considered if the nominee has not submitted the acknowledgement email)

School Coordinating Teachers collect copies of the acknowledgement email from all student nominees and complete the nomination checklist, then submit to CDGT by mail or email

Selection will be based on the information submitted by the applicants. Please make sure that all information provided is accurate. Once submitted, the information cannot be amended.

The following applicants may be invited to attend an online interview or screening test:

Applicants for Level 1 Physics who have NOT obtained a pass or above grade in Pre-stage Physics or Level 1 Mathematics will be invited to sit for an online screening test.

Date and Time:
9 October, 2021 (Saturday) at 2pm to 3pm OR 16 October, 2021 (Saturday) at 9:15 to 10:15am (No alternative dates or timeslots will be arranged)

Applicants for Level 1 Engineering may be invited to attand an online interview.

Date and Time:
16 October, 2021 (Saturday) at 10:30am to 1:30pm OR 16 October, 2021 (Saturday) at 2:30pm to 5:30pm (No alternative dates or timeslots will be arranged)

Result Announcement and Course Fee Payment

  • There is only one round of selection. To facilitate the nomination procedures, please provide sufficient information when you submit the nomination documents.

  • Nomination results will be released to the nominating parties by email on 29 October 2021 (Friday).

  • Enrolled students should settle the course fee within three working days (the payment details will be stated on the enrolment email).

    Financial Assistance Scheme

  • Eligibility: Recipients of the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) OR School Textbook Assistance Scheme.

  • Applicants should apply for the financial assistance in the application form and submit copies of supporting documents of the above schemes (e.g. notification/ approval letter) for approval. CDGT reserves the right to reject any applicant who failed to provide the needed documents.
