Sun-day@UST

Join our tour at HKUST! Our instructors will lead the children to walk around the university campus. Students can get to know about the famous red bird sundial sculpture - "Circle of Time" at the center of piazza, and explore other architectural elements related to sunlight. What have been observed in the tour will be integrated into the lesson, e.g. how particular building design creates shadows of certain forms. Students can also build their own sundial and carry out different class activities with it to understand the relationship between the Earth, the Sun, and time from a scientific perspective.

Our instructors are HKUST undergraduate students. Trainings are provided before classes to ensure teaching quality.

Successful applicants should pay the fee within the specified payment period (12 Mar 2025 (Wed) to 14 Mar 2025 (Fri)) according to the payment instructions (bank-transfer or credit card) on the email. Applications will be deemed canceled if applicants fail to pay on or before the deadline.

Applicants who have not been accepted in the first round will be placed on the waiting list.
