Description |
Treasure hunting is a fascinating game and the key to succeed is to read the treasure map accurately. Our instructors will guide students through the basics of map reading and creating their own treasure map, while exploring designated spaces of the HKUST campus. From freehand drawing to measurement with tools, students will experience different methods through a series of activities. They can understand more about scale, map reading and measurement, so as to nourish in them the concept of accurate measurement and representation. |

HKUST Campus and Classrooms Please arrive at the HKUST Entrance Piazza 15 minutes before the start time of class. If parents will be driving to HKUST, please note the parking policy of HKUST. Hourly parking is applicable on Weekends and Public Holidays only. |

Result Announcement |
First round application result will be released via email on 27 Nov 2024 (Wed). An SMS will be sent as a reminder on that day. Successful applicants should pay the fee within the specified payment period (27 Nov 2024 (Wed) to 29 Nov 2024 (Fri)) according to the payment instructions (bank-transfer or credit card) on the email. Applications will be deemed canceled if applicants fail to pay on or before the deadline. Applicants who have not been accepted in the first round will be placed on the waiting list. |

- Workshops will be cancelled and rescheduled to a week later at the same timeslot:
Class H1 & H2: 4 Jan 2025 (Sat)
Class H3 & H4: 6 Jan 2025 (Mon) - If the signal is lowered 3 hours before the workshop commences, the workshop will proceed as scheduled.
